Eloise

Okay, this is a hoot! Apparently, Eloise is now 23 and interning at Condé Nast. (Don't think too hard about it, because the book came out in 1955, and she was six years old then, so she ought to be more like sixty... but still.)

Ha! That's hilarious! BTW I told someone (at the pool!) yesterday about your shirt - I had blogged about him, and warned him to be careful or he would end up in my novel! I think he was amused.

That's so funny, Susan! Once the members of my writers' group threatened to put a coffee shop employee into our novels (it was closing time and he was encouraging us to leave). He was VERY intrigued, and even spelled his name for us!

Eloise probably wouldn't be so cute if she were in her 60s. I wonder how she'd be at 23.

Lisa and Theresa, thanks for stopping by.
That would make a good writing prompt: "Eloise at 60"--lol!
